Sophie Hole with the Champion, and Judge, Rowland Davies

The champion yearling ewe from R Hole joint topped The Dorset Horn and Poll Dorset Show & Sale at Worcester last Saturday. Scanned carrying a single to Sherborne Discovery, she won the yearling ewe class before being pulled out as champion by judge Mr Rowland Davies. After some spirited bidding she sold for 750gns to J Blakiston, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Mr Hole continued his good day by taking the Reserve Champion with his winning Ewe Lamb. The Ewe lamb had also won her class at Royal Bath & West Show and found a new home at 550gns with R.G Elliott & Son, Norton, Northamptonshire.

The second prize winning yearling ram, again from S & R Downes, followed close behind at 720gns, this one selling to previous buyers R.G Elliott & Sons.
